calm seas on during yesterday's sail - amazing!!

Arrived in Deshaies yesterday afternoon with  lovely sail up with a reefed main and head sail. Holding is grassy and it took several tries to anchor. Winds picked up during the night and we were swinging, swinging and going around in circles. A bit of a fitfull sleep but at 4 a.m. this morning winds died and sleep was better. Anchorage was full but many boats left this morning, probably for Antigua. We leave tomorrow and hopefully sail will be uneventful. But we are prepared!

splurged on breakfast this morning - the most wonderful bakery - best in the islands!! - and visited the fish market at 7:45 a.m. this morning - trifle late but did manage some fish - earlier tomorrow for tuna or mahi mahi

La Genoise - Dave's treat last night for dinner

February 11...Arrived in Iles des Saints yesterday - a good sail in with no problems. Very busy anchorage but managed to secure a mooring with no problem either. Nice to see some sun after the rain in Dominica.
