ANOTHER WORLD - Athens

Temple of Zeus
Arrived without incident from Prague on Aegean Air, voted best regional airline and got fed on a two hour flight. Bussed it from airport to hotel-easy-and went up to rooftop garden for views.  It seems all hotels have view of the acropolis.

September 12 took a trolley ride, get off and on, walked through flea market, Patka area, saw Hadrians library, and then joined the masses of people to walk to the acropolis. Got to the ticket booth and decided we would see that and other attractions on our return--tickets were 12 euros which included four other sights but not the museum.
Museum is a brand new facility built over a town that was at the base of the acropolis.. There are glass floors to view the ruins and eventually they will open a walkway through them. Price for museum was 5 euros each which we felt was reasonable. Pictures say it all!!
